Power station emissions and clean coal technology
The more efficient a power station is, the less fuel it requires to produce power, so plant efficiency is critical in achieving a lower volume of carbon emissions(CO2) that could potentially be released into the atmosphere. HSS air pre-heater proprietary patent-pending restoration system removes fouling, which directly affects power station efficiency. Restored Air pre-heaters provide better control for the gas and air temperatures resulting in better management of emissions. In addition to lower carbon emission, coal-fired power stations are also committed to considerable reductions in emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2), particulates and nitrogen oxide (NOx) by the installation of FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurisation) plants. HSS gas-gas heater proprietary restoration system is used to remove fouling and restore the efficiency of FGD units.
ISO 14001 and 14064 consultation/assessment
HSS provide (free of charge) consultation/assessment of environmental management system (ISO 14001) and CO2 reporting (ISO 14064) in power plants. It is a form of our social responsibility towards environmental protection and will be a complement to our current restoration business line. As a commitment for those purpose, our team has been certified by IRCA (The International Register of Certificated Auditors) for ISO 14001 lead auditor
